Each morning during prayers, two students share the blessings they have experienced with the entire school. We hope you are richly blessed too!

The Class of 2007 shares how they are blessed

"My friends are so blessed to have me in their life. This is because I help and listen and cherish them and learn from them. I know when a friend needs a laugh and I am always seeming to be awake in the morning, which makes my friends laugh because they are still half asleep at school. "

"I am blessed with everything, school, teachers, friends, and family. "

"I am blessed because God has given me an amazing family who loves me and cares about me, although my family is large and scattered all over the world we still find ways to spend time together. Whenever I see my cousins or aunts and uncles I feel truly blessed and I know I am a blessing to them with my love and gratitude. "

"Throughout my life I have been blessed with parents who love me and care enough about me to provide me with the opportunity to attend a good school. Instead of just sending me to any school they chose to spend their own money to make sure I receive a good education and to make sure I will be extremely safe in St. Thomas More. Also even though they work every day they take time off of work to pick me up from school then go back to work. My parents do all that and more. They are extremely special and I am blessed for everything they have given me. "

"I am blessed because I have found my motivation. It’s a motivation that has started within me. I think about past regrets and mistakes that I have made in school. This year I feel like a different person, this year I am an 8 th grader and I am dedicated to anything that comes as a challenge through out my last year at STM. I won’t let anything stop me from having a great 8 th grade year because I am blessed. "

"I am blessed because I have a grandmother who has overcome the most troubling illnesses to take care of me and my brother. So this is why I am blessed. Many people have very special blessings but I think that my Nana is the most special person in my life. "

"I think that going to this school is a blessing because some of the other schools are not too safe. Some schools you can get hurt because of all the fights that go on."

"My sister is a blessing because she is always there for me. Sometimes she is a pain but she always cares and I love her. I think she is a blessing to my family because my mom’s second baby died of downs-syndrome and my sister is perfect in every shape and form. "

"My friend Vicki is a blessing to me. When I feel bad like nothing can make me feel better Vicki walks in singing her favorite song that makes me laugh. She has motivating words that cheer me up. You’ll do better next time she always says. "

"I have been blessed with many things but the best blessing God has given me is the talent of playing baseball, I have been playing all my life since I was 5. The first season I played I wasn’t very good. Bit the next season I was a star. Ever since that season I have been the star of all the teams I have been on. Being a baseball player has helped me progress as a person. It helped me to be a good leader and a teacher. One good thing of being a talented baseball player is that many younger kids look up to you, Another good thing of being a good baseball player is that you can teach people how to how to play and also how to have a good attitude. Being a baseball player is the best blessing for me.

My little brother is the reason I wake up every day, I am also blessed because of my family, without them I wouldn’t be half the person I am today. The class of 07 is a blessing because I will leave STM and have wonderful memories of all my friends in my grade. "

"God has blessed me because I have 2 parents who love me and I have a house to sleep in and food to eat every night. I am also blessed with a great puppy. I am blessed to go to St. Thomas More School and it has been a second home and family. The class of 2007 is a blessing because I will always have great memories of my STM family. "I have blessed others by being kind to others and always trying to tell the truth. I have prayed for the many souls in Purgatory and that is my blessing to them. "

"God has blessed me with my brothers, parents and friends. He has given me all the great things that I have today. I’m also blessed with my aunts, uncles, cousins and people who are so close they are like family. The class of 07 is a blessing because I will always be friends with them and always remember them. "

"I am blessed because I have shelter, food, a family, and a dog.  I am blessed because they all care about me and want to help me when I am sad or hurt.  I go to a good school and I have a good education.  I am blessed in a lot of ways." 

"I am blessed because I have a family that loves me and cares for me.  I have a home that I live in with my own room.  I have pets that protect the house and that my sister can play with.  I have a mom that cooks food for the family.  My mom and dad bring money home to pay bills so we have things.  I have a family that buys me clothes that I need."

 "I am blessed because I have lots of family and friends.  I also have a good place to sleep and plenty of food to eat."r

 "I am blessed because I can come home to a place that is safe with people who care for me.  I have freedom to do as I wish."

 "I am blessed because I have such wonderful friends and family, because there is music.  There are wonderful books and I have the ability to read them, I have free time to relax and do what I want.  I have nice teachers.  I can swim and play violin."

 "I am blessed because I have new friends here.  I have a family that cares for me.  I am going to this school.  I am German.  I moved away from Germany and now the school is easier.  I have a cat that’s with us for 7-8 years and hasn’t run away yet.  That I don’t have a brother (they’re too much work).  That I have a family that will help pay for college.  That my parents are trying their best to make us have a good life."

"I am blessed because I have a nice home and people who care for me. I have two very nice cats. I am also blessed because I have a very nice school to go to. I have allot of friends who like and care for me. I am also blessed because I have allot of good food that some people do not have. I have a nice family who helps me to learn.
