• Yahoo Kids Encyclopedia Search - Type the name of your country in the Search box and click the Search button.
• Country Index - This webpage has links to population information about your country.
• Lonely Planet Destinations - The Lonely Planet site is a treasure trove of information. Click on the drop down menu to select your country and then use the clickable menus at the left side to find information about money, history, culture, environment and other things you need to know.
• The CIA World Factbook Click on the downward pointing triangle arrow next to the box that says 'Select Your Country' and then click on your county's name to mine a treasure trove of information.

• Travelin' Money Index - This site has picture of the currency of SOME of the countries we are studying.
• Ron Wise's Geographical Directory of Paper Money - Click on the area of Latin America your country is in to find pictures of currency from many countries.
• Flags of the World - This site has flags from all nations.
• List of country name etymologies (origins)- Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

• Kid's Image Search Tools - This site has search boxes for many different image search engines.
• Alta Vista Image Search - Use this website if you are having trouble locating pictures. Simply put your country's name and the item you are looking for in the search box.

How To Cite Internet Resources

• Citing Internet Resources - Use this webpage to find the correct form for citing Internet resources in your bibliography. You will probably only use the forms for World Wide Web (for information you use), Online Images (for pictures you use), and for Online Sounds (for any sounds you may use)
