New 1-20-07
Back to the Garden our lunch providers will now be offering fruit bars, frozen yogurt and other ice cream novelties for purchase. The cost is .50 cents. Money will not be collected in advance.
Each grade has been assigned a day when they will be permitted to purchase ice cream. The schedule will be as follows:
Tuesdays-K, 3rd and 6th Grade
Wednesdays-1st, 4th and 7th Grade
Thursdays-2nd, 5th and 8th Grade
Ice cream will not be sold on Mondays or Fridays.
Students must bring their money with them to lunch. The school office or teachers will not collect money; the Back to The Garden staff will distribute the ice cream as the students come through the lunch line. Students will not be permitted to return to class if they forget their money. It would be a good idea for primary students to put their .50 in an envelope and mark it “ice cream”.
St. Thomas More Catholic School Hot Lunch Program
Menu/Order Forms
St. Thomas More is pleased to announce that Back to the Garden will serve as STM’s 2007-2008 Hot Lunch Program provider. Back to the Garden was selected after the Search Committee conducted an extensive search and interviewing process.
We are excited to start the new school year with our popular school lunch program provider. Back to the Garden also provides the lunch program at St. John the Evangelist School and was the provider at Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Anthony’s prior to their closure. In addition to school lunch program experience, Back to the Garden has been a contract caterer for the Archdiocese of Atlanta and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston Campus.
For the 2007-2008 school year, there are a few changes to the hot lunch program:
• There will be a hot lunch and a cold lunch (sandwich) option every day.
• The lunches will cost $3.25 each.
•Back to the Garden will provide an order form, which you will fill out and return with your check to order lunches on specific days. Lunches need to be purchased on a twice-monthly basis.
• Students that do not use their purchased lunch, due to illness, will be able to apply that as a credit towards a lunch during the next two-week lunch order form.
• In order for Back to the Garden to provide enough lunches, they need to know how many meals are purchased every day, and so the former method of purchasing lunches in bulk and then using them at your discretion will no longer be available.
Lunch Order Forms will be sent home in Kids Mail or can be printed from the school website. Fill out the form and send it back in Kids mail with the payment. The payment can be made in the form of cash, a money order, or check made payable to Back to the Garden.
