Introduction



The animals have escaped from the zoo! They are fighting back and have let themselves free. They are led by the head Zebra named Sally, beat her in a game of counting and they will go back in their home in the zoo.



Task


All the animals have escaped and are fighting back against their zoo keepers. The zebra that is leading the rebellion is named Sally, beat her in a game of counting and they will go back in their homes.


Process

  1. Click here for the worksheet for your answers.
  2. How many of your friends are going with you to the zoo?
  3. If it costs $5.00 per person at to get into the zoo how much will it cost for all of your friends to go to the zoo?
  4. Go to this website, http://www.aaaknow.com/k2b_cox1.htm and click on the Start button under How Many? – Once you win the game then Sally and her friends must go back to their homes.
  5. If you got all of the 25 questions correct then the animals must go back to their homes!
  6. Uh oh! Their pens are locked. You must find the combination to unlock the lock.
  7. Answer the questions on this website,http://www.mathcats.com/storyproblems/kitten1p.html and write down your answers. These answers are the numbers for the combination.
  8. Once you’ve answered all the questions check your answers here: http://www.mathcats.com/storyproblems/kitten1.html
  9. If you got all the problems correct then animals must go back to their pens!! Yay!!!

Conclusion

When you finish this you should have practiced your multiplication, counting, adding, and subtracting. You should have had fun and learned too! Hope you enjoyed everything!
