Introduction
Your
parents have asked you
to make Thanksgiving dinner this year. They said that there were going
to 20
people coming to the Thanksgiving dinner. You will have to make turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie, but al the recipes are for 10 people. What should you do?
Task
Go to the recipes websites and record the amount of ingredients you need for 1 recipe and then double the recipe so you can feed all 20 guests
Process
- First, print the worksheet. You will need to write down the amount of ingredients for each recipe. Then you need to double each ingredient in each recipe.

To find the recipes for the turkey go on http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_29154,00.html ( Don’t forget to double the ingredients by two because it is only enough for ten people. You also need to ignore the last ingredient.)
- To find
the recipe for the pumpkin pie go on http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_4243,00.html
(You will have to make two pumpkin pies because one pumpkin pie will
not be enough.)
- You will have to also make mash potatoes, to find the recipes go on http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_20592,00.html ( You also need to double the ingredients because it is not enough for twenty people.
