GA State football team is in the sugar
bowl and you
are having a party. You are allowed to invite 50 people over for your
party.
Your parents are giving you $300.00 to buy anything you need for your
party.
Don’t spend all the money on useless things!
When you are through with this Webquest you should be able to answer the following questions.
1. How do
you subtract how much money you spent, from how much money you have?
2. How does this
Webquest relate to the real World?
3. How do you include
tax in your total cost?
Task
In this math webquest you will have to
Add and
Subtract decimals for a party you are throwing for GA State football
game. You are
allowed to invite 50 people and you only have $300.00. Everyone in the
party
must have enough food, drinks, etc., for whatever you are buying. You
must be
able to Add and Subtract decimals, if you want to understand this task.
You are
not allowed to go over your budget of $300.00. Also include tax with
every
total and the tax is 7%.
