Saint Thomas More

A Catholic School in the Jesuit Tradition

National Blue Ribbon School 2016

Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to St. Thomas More School!

We appreciate your interest in our school. St. Thomas More is a Catholic parish sponsored by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). As a school we are committed to the Jesuit traditions of academic excellence, the service of faith and the promotion of justice.  The hallmark of Jesuit education is its focus on educating the whole person: body, mind and spirit. St. Thomas More School opened in 1950 and was staffed by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Today, the faculty, staff, and administration continue their efforts to provide a challenging learning environment.

Each child is a blessed gift from God. We cherish every student at our school. With parents and the parish community, we nurture students who not only recognize and value their own God-given gifts and talents, but also the unique gifts in every person. As a Catholic school in the Jesuit tradition, the most important ideal that we teach our students is to seek or find God’s presence in all things.  Students are taught to be people for others willing to help those in need.  The faith life of St. Thomas More School is rooted in Ignatian Spirituality.

We welcome you to visit our school to experience the special community we have built here. Please contact our school office to arrange a visit with us or to allow us to answer any of your questions. On behalf of the entire St. Thomas More community, I thank you for taking the time to get to know us!

May God bless you abundantly!
