Congratulations to all of our teams for a great basketball season! All championshiop games will be held on "Championship Saturday' at Our Lady of the Assumption Gym on February 18. Plan on a great day of Catholic Metro League of Atlanta basketball. You will be able to see all the championship games under one roof.
Volunteers Are Needed! A program of this size needs many forms of assistance beyond coaching. Current duties require the addition of several more league level leaders, as well as parent assistance for all teams. Specifically, the program is seeking someone to manage the tasks of inventorying, distributing and collecting uniforms. Please contact Sara Pilger at 404-377-3058 to volunteer. STM Youth Basketball for First and Second Grade Students First and second grade boys and girls attending STM or attending church at STM are welcome to register for a fall intramural league. The league will meet and play from 6:30-7:30 on Friday nights December 2, 9, and 16, and January 6, 13, 20, and 27 in the gymnasium. Coaches are needed to assist. Registration forms are available on the STM website. They should be completed and turned in with the $25 fee anytime before the Thanksgiving holiday or until a maximum of 40 children have registered. Registration Form for 1st and 2nd Grade Youth Basketball Uniform News Uniforms for grades 3-5 are purchased as a part of the registration fee and may be kept by the players at the end of the season. The uniforms for grades 6-8 are a part of the permanent stock of the program and must be returned at the end of the season in good condition. Uniforms that have been cut or otherwise intentionally mutilated will have to be replaced and paid for by the family. In order to preserve the life of these uniforms for all grades, please do not place them in the dryer. Additional Uniform Options Optional navy blue warm up t-shirts in the same style as last year can be ordered at registration for $15. They will be personalized with the player's last name on the back and are for players to keep. Parents are encouraged to have these shirts, too!. Shirts from last year that still fit are fine to use again. We will again seek permission from the school for players to wear these shirts to school on Fridays before a game. STM Tiger Basketball ankle-length socks will be available this year for $4 per pair or 3 pair for $11. This is an optional purchase. STM Tiger Basketball wristbands are also available and will sell for $2 each. Samples of each will be available at registration and orders can be placed at that time. Need More Info?
