PTO Fundraising

The Saint Thomas More Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a fundraising and community building organization. The funds raised help support projects to enhance the education of Saint Thomas More School’s children. Funds raised also provide Christmas bonuses for faculty and staff and campus technology upgrades and capital improvements. Gifts of time, talent and treasure enhance our school community and make it a special place for our children to live and learn. There are numerous ways that you can make a gift to our school. Each gift is greatly appreciated by our students and faculty.

Signature Fundraisers

Rock and Run
Rock and Run is a Saint Thomas More Catholic School fundraiser dedicated to promoting awareness for students and their families about maintaining wellness for mind, body and spirit. During this two week program, students learn about a variety of fun ways to exercise, do a lot of running and have a ton of fun! Athletes and wellness experts from various disciplines demonstrate their individual activities for the students during PE and Health classes.

Silent Auction & Gala
The Saint Thomas More Catholic School Silent Auction & Gala is an annual event held in the spring. It is one of Saint Thomas More School’s largest fundraisers that is an evening of fun, festivities, and fellowship for our community. This year’s event theme is Apres Ski!

Annual Christmas Greenery Sale
Our annual Christmas Greenery Sale is held in the months before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Saint Thomas More Catholic School partners with Lynch Creek Farm where you can order beautiful wreaths, garlands, centerpieces to decorate your home for the holidays. Or, you can send them to family and friends as gifts. Online ordering makes it so easy, and Saint Thomas More School receives a portion of all the sales. When the sale starts, go to lynchcreekfundraising.com and search for Saint Thomas More School.

Everyday Giving Opportunities

Shop and earn money for Saint Thomas More Catholic School! The following businesses have partnered with STM and will donate a percentage of your spending to our school. The money really adds up if everyone participates, so spread the word to friends and family members, too!

Box Tops for Education
This program earns over $1,000 per year for STM, so let’s keep the momentum going! Scan your grocery receipts within 14 days into the Box Tops app and earn money for STM! It is quicker than the old way of cutting out the box tops and sending them to school. Watch the short Here’s How It Works video to learn everything you need to know.

Kroger Community Rewards
If you have linked your card in the past, you must re-enroll each year. Reenrollment is available only until August 31st. You do not need to create a new account, only link your card again. Just sign in here and click on “Re-enroll” under Community Rewards under your Account Summary. You’ll have to search for the school and confirm – “St Thomas More School (EP881)”.

If you need a Kroger Plus Card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger store. Go to Kroger.com and click on Sign In/Register to register your new card. To become a supporter, follow these steps:

Go to krogercommunityrewards.com.
Click Create an Account.
Put in your email address and password. Confirm your password.
Enter Plus card OR alt ID number.
Go to Community Rewards (near the bottom of the page).
Fill out the personal info.
Put in the STM group number: 42552.
Confirm the STM selection, and click Enroll.

Then, just scan your Kroger Plus card when you shop!

Publix Partners
To become a supporter, simply sign up here. Once you are signed in, go to account settings (click on your name at the top of the page). Scroll right and click on “My Publix Partner”, then select “St Thomas More School PTO”. Each time you shop at Publix, enter your phone number at check out for STM to receive credit. STM has earned $52,084.27 since the program started! Please reenroll your account each year before the deadline of September 30th.

Amazon Smile
Shop at smile.amazon.com and Amazon will donate to STM. At smile.amazon.com, you will find the same low prices, vast selection, and convenient shopping experiences as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price to our school. On your first visit to Amazon Smile, select “St Thomas More Catholic School” to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping.

My Coke Rewards for Schools
Turn your Coca-Cola product purchases into donations to STM. To donate, visit coke.com/give/schools , select “St Thomas More School, Decatur, GA” and scan or enter product codes from participating Coca-Cola products. Get started today! Mabel’s Labels
“We’re missing a school sweater! Where’s your hat? Did you leave your water bottle at school?” Do these questions sound familiar? If so, Mabel’s Labels will help get all your children’s items back to the rightful owner! Mabel’s Labels are dishwasher, laundry, and microwave safe. Some of the great things they offer are uniform label packs, sports labels, bag tags, and holiday items. Shop at mabelslabels.com. Click on the “SUPPORT A FUNDRAISER” button on the top right. Type in “St. Thomas More School (Decatur)” and 20% commission goes to STM! There is now a period after “St.” when you type in our school name.
